Antonella Corda
Cannonau di Sardegna
Light ruby in color with a wide reddish/brick rim and light intensity.
Fruity nose of raspberries, strawberries, earth, herbs and spices.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, peppercorn, dark chocolates, earth and light vegetables.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is an interesting Grenache from Sardinia. Light and easy drinking. A good replacement to Pinot Noir.
A good quality wine. The high alcohol is well integrated.
Fruit forward right out of the bottle, and and gets earthier as it opens up (45 minutes).
A good food wine that I paired with cheeses and crackers.
15% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
$25.

2021 Independence Day Party πΊπ² π₯³ with several members of our Tastevin crew and extended friends.π· Proof that our palates are wider than Burgundy, outside of sanctioned events.πΎ Notes may be light, scores will be honest. π―
Post dinner wine, quite lean (young).

Feb 21st, 2021β... its bright acid lending it a crisp and refreshing finish after a pallet-coding glide across the pallet.β Itβs alcohol is well integratedβ¦βοΏΌ β this wine shows the side of the Grenache (a.k.a. Cannonau) grape that is not seen often enough-the finessed and fragrant side.βοΏΌ - Ian Cauble, Master Sommelier
