Light fruit and spice on the nose. Flavor is fruity, but too strong. Nice mouth feel, good tannins for a red from a northern region. (I think the Cab Sauv helps the tannin structure.) Medium body. Has a lasting finish.

Nice light Austrian Pinot noir. Lots of strawberry and rose petal flavors. Light tannins. Easy to drink. Total surprise that this Pinot noir is from Austria!

Austrian born, Burgundy trained Anton Bauer is synonymous with great Austrian wine. His Pinot Noir is true to its French roots with great structure with notes of wild strawberries and rose petals
