The 2020 Morgon Côte du Py Cuvée Julia undergoes a 20-day maceration and nine months élevage in barrel. It has a pretty nose with raspberry, wild strawberry and light orange sorbet scents. Very berry red. Aromas leap from the glass - maybe one level too exuberantly. A bit carbonic on pop, but that fades with a bit of air. Medium minus body, medium acid, short finish. Enjoyable but far from a favorite.

Fun lip smacker, med intensity wine with floral violet notes, redcurrant, bramble, red plum, a hint of smokiness, pepper, cinammon, some vanilla and wood, med+ acidity and med finish. Yummy wine at a good price.
