Our 1,000 tasting note on Delectable and excellent wine for our main course...burgers!

Fell in love with this boutique estate last August. Highly recommend!
Insanely dark purplish ruby red. Nose is coated in dark raspberries, tobacco, oak, and dark spices. Heavy oaky tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Needed to be opened for at least a couple hours. Palate is layered with tons of dark black and red fruits, cinnamon, vanilla, woody tannins and dark spices. Excellent structure and an insanely long finish. Still just a baby. Drink till 2038.

1.5 hour decant (min sediment). A mysterious dark purplish ruby red color. On the nose: nice aromatics of dark cherry, vanilla, spice, a sweet licorice, floral. Taste: smooth, balanced, round wine with blackberry, dark chocolate, black pepper, little vanilla, earth, and a smokey espresso dry medium plus finish...a restrained kinda old world style (low 14% abv) Napa wine. Fun to drink this Saturday night. Cheers!

Very nice. Fresh and red-fruited. A bit of fresh rosemary and thyme adds complexity. Lovely.

2013 vintage. Nice nose, big and complex. Black currant flavors and spice flavors with a smooth flavor. Continues to improve with age.

2013 vintage. Our first bottle of this year. Nose of cherry and good legs. Complex, slightly earthly with cherry and dark fruits. Very drinkable now but will improve with age!

I have great memories of the 2005 & 2007 so I thought I'd get back in with Anomaly. I'm pleased I did! The other bottles will improve with a few years under their belt. 2hour decant but still tight.
