Was told that "the Syrah grape in this wine shows much more earth and funk than the Australian version. Strong spice notes. The Grenada serves to round the wine out and soften it.
Not as spicy and more rounded than the Australian versions I've had. It does taste earthy but the funky-ness isn't very apparent.

Super spicy, which was interesting. If I want a spicy dance party in my mouth, this is the wine.
