Dogliani is Ground Zero for Dolcetto and I’m normally happy with the wines, this was OK — one dimensional w/plenty of red fruit & peppery aromas followed by mid-palate of red fruit, some herbs, rubber, licorice, & Ricola. Med weight, lacking focus & structure and modest finish.

A good quaffing wine, easy to drink with nice fresh red fruit notes balanced with medium+ acidity but not enough depth here to give it much of a deeper examination. 100% dolcetto. Drink it now.
