Sori dij But Dogliani Dolcetto

Blackcurrant, blackberry. Touch of almond/marzipan. Overwhelming density and richness without excessive alcohol. Dolcetto raised to its highest expression. Only San Fereolo, Gilliardi and Pecchenino can consistently reach these heights.

Dark red, medium bodied, dry, pleasant tannins and acidity. Upon opening very little nose developed fruit notes after 30 min hints of blackberry, cranberry and green strawberry.

From traditional Piedmont this Dolcetto is known for its expression of bold blackberries, blueberries and plum and a hint of allspice with an excellent balance of mineral, tannins and acidity. Excellent pairing with Tagliatelle & Bolognese Sauce
