The website for the producer says this is 100 % pergola rosso. So o I don’t know where the vernaccia nera comes from. Very floral nose. So similar to the unusual Lacrima di Moro d’alba it must be related ( since that is also an exclusive grape from this region). Deep purple, lively and fruity with a little sour component. Interesting wine good by itself but better with grilled meats and tomato based foods. Really like trying the obscure regional grapes of Italy. Do you really want to drink Cab every day?
