Ruby red with aromas of fresh fruits and spice, the wine spends 12 months on French Oak (40% new). On the palate flavors of strawberry and cherry with bold herbs, lively acidity and fine tannins. The finish lingered with a smoky creamy ending. Nice value.

Aromas of raspberry and twigs and earthy notes. On the palate, it's a little tight and would definitely benefit from decanting. Tawny flavors of red berries, primarily cherry, cranberry and raspberry with lots of earthy intones ( perhaps wet leaves?) Tart and savory mixed with earthy notes. Nice Pinot noir blend from Sonoma county, Mendocino county California. For the price point.
