Clean on the nose with liquorice, white pepper and blackcurrant notes of medium intensity.
On the palate it is dry with medium-high acidity and high tannins. Full bodied.
Not very complex, the finish is medium.

So much flavor. Ripe, brambly fruit, intensely flavored with a just touch of baking spice. Blueberry and blackberry really pop out. The fruit lingers nicely. Made in the "ripasso" style of northeast Italy, using in the blend the skins of dried grapes that have already been fermented, which deepens the flavor. Sometimes that's too much but in this case 👍
