The dark purple '01 Andrew Murray Red Rhone Blend 'Espérance' wears its age with finesse. The ripe strawberry, floral and cinnamon nose is somewhat muted, but the flavors of tart cherry, espresso and earth are still forceful and complex. The long peppery aftertaste shows well-integrated jammy tannins.
