Just saw that this got 99 pts from Wine Advocate, so figured it was time to pop one and see what all the hype is about. I've never had anything from Sine Qua Non, so I'm not sure how this compares (this is the assistant winemaker's label). Very young and I'm sure my hour decant was not enough to really get this one going on all cylinders. The 15.2% alc was pretty prominent, big bold fruit with nice minerally undertones. Pleasant rounded tannin structure. My remaining bottles will sleep for a few years, but I'm not sure that this will need long term aging.
