Brilliant. Like a cross between 16 and 19. But better.

Superb floral, mineral and confectionery nose. Wow. Super intense and pungent but pretty and restrained. Layered and elegant aromas with just insane clarity. Dusty woodshop as well. Green bok choy, other sweet greens and loads of pineapple and citrus. So complex. Just stunning. 9.6 nose. That Laible florality is off the chain right now. Wow, that Laible depth, minerality and elegant restrained concentration and power. Man what a marriage between power and finesse here. Finished salty and floral. Stunning length and detail. Just insane. So busy and complex on the palate and the finish is stunning and engaging. The usual Laible genius.

This is singing. What a showing. Stunning aromas of lime rock candy, cotton candy, so confectionary with dripping wet stones, citrus peel, fig, honeysuckle, and so much more. Wide open and so so refined. A thing of aching beauty. Palate is terrific and lively with citrus, flowers and such refinement and piquant acidity. Really lithe. Nimble. Elegant. Long. So pure. Just a tremendous bottle. Really the marriage of elegance and intensity here is unreal. The finish is crazy long and you don’t think it will be.

Wow. Wow. What a nose. Huge minerality, floral, sugar snap peas, huge perfume, wow. Floral as fuck. Wow. Huge power and concentration but light as a feather. Hauntingly elegant and so so pure. Flavors of rocks, slate, some pit fruits, amazing apricot and so so high in acid and so juicy. Insanely complex and so so refined. Gorgeous. So complex on the finish with stunning structure. Wow. So so long.

Sick intensely mineral nose. Super fragrant and floral, it’s like a perfume, stunning purity and acidity. So fresh and terrific citrus. Complex and balanced. It’s accessible as well. What a finish. So salty on the finish.

Oh Laible let me count the ways I love you. Insane fruit complexity on the nose with an underlying mineral tension. Floral as well. Maybe some lanolin. Palate is just gorgeous. So deep, finessed and textured. Ripe but so balanced and effusively mineral. This is very refined and just so fine. Brilliant.

Outstanding as usual. Big fruit on the nose. Takes a few years for the Laible fruit to emerge from slumber. Concentrated, opulent and sleek with sap, structure and minerals. Pithy citrus fruits. Kumquats and tangelo. Long refined juicy mineral finish. Outstanding.

Oh my god. This is singing.

Nose has a bit of age. Mineral. Tropical flowers.

As it opens fucking insane. Indescribably amazing. Perfection. Just hits that edge of elegance.

Palate is crunchy delicious minerals. A kiss of minerals made from Honey. so precise and fresh. Delicious. So balanced.

People who hate on Riesling should be forced to drink this. Like Chablis’ brother from another mother.

Top Riesling for a Song. White peaches, limes, rangpur limes, touch cardamom, minerality and salinity en masse. This is the best value of German GG Riesling by a mile - Lyle is right! - In fact anybody who passes up on this should have regrets.
