Easy. Not 'big'. A dark ruby. Got a case discount. Paired with grilled lamb chops, grilled eggplant, garden tomatoes-feta-garden basil-olive oil-scallion. An August evening. The light is shorter.

This is a silly QPR value. Grenache seems to show better when made well, unobtrusively, and inexpensively, compared to most other grapes. Shows indications of whole-cluster (haven't verifed) and packs great acid while showing solid complexity: fig, strawberry, oregano, moss, inorganic minerality.
