Andis Wines
Sierra Foothills Grenache Noir
This is actually a Zinfandel. The description is wrong. The grapes are from the oldest Zinfandel vines in California. The wine has an explosive beaque. The color is deep purple. When it hits your pallet it is full of fruit with low acidity. It's body structure is only medium however. And the alcohol content is very high at 15.5 percent; which is what I believe gives the wine such an explosive nose. It also gave me a heck of a headache. The longer I decanted it the better it became. I'm confident it can rest another year or two and improve.
