La Boutanche Trocken Riesling

Holy cow! Lime, mango, pineapple, peach skins and a whole lot of fun. Nice crisp finish to a round yet electric wine. Nothing but pleasure.

2022. Sometimes it takes a liter of tasty dry Riesling to go with a dinner of homemade pork belly bao and kimchi fried rice.

Apples, lemons, some vanilla, some salt, something kinda herbal. Nice early fall wine 🍁 From Kingston Wine Company ❤️

Helens Wines

Honeyed, underripe fruit and zingy herbal notes leap from the glass. There’s a hard cider quality to this that underscores the drinkability and, ultimately, lack of complexity. Price is nice and low alcohol makes it very chuggable.

Only Kung Fu Girl comes close to this screaming value. Stone fruit salad.

Not as good as their last iteration of the riesling but still good

I’d rather 25% less wine and 25% more complexity in this liter glugger. These La Boutanche wines are consistently nothing interesting and nothing to fault. This from Andi Knauss. Smokey green strawberry and herbal notes. Tart, zingy, bright, crisp.

Riesling or Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc or whatever.
