This is Anderson’s Conn Valley 2015 Right Bank. Not the cab, but a blend of cab franc 57% and merlot 43%. The bouquet is very pleasant with notes of lavendar and a forest with moss in the trees and wild mushrooms on the ground. I am serious. The initial palate is a tad bit young as there is a sour blackberry and boysenberry fruit. The sourness starts to dissipate quickly into a light oaky finish. There is not much in the middle. Finish is dry with no sour left overs and a thirst for more. Give it two more years and this will it be ready to serve! Decant for one hour.
