A really nice aged Cabernet Sauvignon from the Conn Creek area which is an outflow from Howell Mtn. Nice cool waters in a slightly warmer microclimate make for beautiful Bordeaux varietals! Aged black cherry and a hint of truffle and worn saddle leather on the nose. Entry still has a tiny bit of acidity, but beautiful black cherry and mint and truffle which were more of the primary notes. Almost makes me think this had a hint of eucalyptus when it was closer to it's youth? I was getting more of a smoked note in the middle. The finish was still a little bit acidic, but very complex. Walnut, black cherry, Blackberry, hint of black licorice on the finish. This wine has impeccable structure, and I look forward to it continuing to drink well over the next 3 to 5 years.

Enjoyed wine but 2008 was more enjoyable.

This has either gone dormant, the bottle was off, or it's past its prime. It just never opened up, a bit astringent. I did drink it but not the best bottle of this I've had
