Éloge Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Deep ruby. Still packing a dark cherry nose/ eucalyptus and mint profile. Soft Merlot finish. A smooth mid-palette finish.

Part of a vertical experience. 97, 99 and 00. Incredible finish. Black cherry. Blackberry.

Wonderful nose that gives you a great sense for this wines Bordeaux style. Surprisingly this bottle has held up in its old age. Smooth with mild fruit. Hints of blackberry and full of tar. Even some modest spice at the very end. Lovely.

I think we waited too long on this one as it's very aciditic and has nothing left on the finish. Definitely not like other Conn Valley Eloges, but not horrible. I really don't care either because the Jays hung a 5 spot on the Yanks in the 1st!! Great start to the weekend!

My description will be weird, but the wine was solid! Nose of a sweaty gym sock, but extremely smooth and rich in fruit. The company was the best part of the night!!:)
