Wild and natural, with a nose of spicy funk, with a slight bo like scent, but not bad, with some wet leave scent, lemongrass with big acidity and a slight effervescence upon opening. Color is more akin to an orange wine, with sediment and a medium body. The palate has zingy acidity, and a slight port like flavor with a loooong palate that zings and buzzes along leading to a fresh finish. Really complex, funky and different, but definitely not like any Chardonnay or Sav Blanc you’d normally expect. I recommend drinking alone or with maybe something like a fennel salad with grapefruit.
