Paso Robles Zinfandel

This wine is a medium-dark purple in the glass. Aromas of brambly cherry are adorned with anise, leather, pepper and clove notes. On the palate there is red fruit and oak spice with a savory coffee angle. The tannins are firm and the acidity is fresh. A lengthy finish leaves the savory aspect strongest. Pair with any beef or pork, or even a dish based in tomato sauce.

2012 Vintage. Pours garnet in color with translucent edges. ON THE NOSE: Cherry pie, brown spices and chocolate. ON THE PALATE: raspberry plum and milk chocolate. Alcohol on the finish. (Hot finish) medium (-) body for a Zin. Medium (-) finish.

Solid effort and pleasing wine but not terribly long finish.

Pours merlot in color. ON THE NOSE: blackberry, spice and a hint of eucalyptus. ON THE PALATE: dark berry with some spice on the end. A very soft #Zin Medium body medium finish.

High toned food friendly

Good balance. Deep aromas/flavors.

Bright cherry, raspberry with black pepper on nose. Palate is cheerfully fruity with a good streak of minerals. Great acidity. Fantastic burger wine.

Very bold

Not mind-blowing, but balanced Zin on par with the price. Dark fruits with notable leather/oak, tannins and acidity.
