Was quite impressed with this wine. Haven't had it since about 2007 or so and felt it had developed to about its peak. A little bit on the old world side, some earth and underbrush with red and black fruit, black pepper, smooth tannins and a lingering finish with a touch of vanillin and the tiniest hint of cedar.

Big, bold and a bad ass cab! Tobacco shop bouquet. Fresh dark berry fruit with a very slight hint of bell pepper. Chewy tobacco, and
leather finish. Recommend decanting for an hour to somewhat tame the tannins.
