A very nice red blend from Napa Valley.
Dry on the palate and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with cedar, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates and mocha.
Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
Drinking nicely now and will be better in a few years. Needs time to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle too.
Good by itself or with food. A great sipping wine.
Will be nice to revisit it in 5 years, but already delicious. Fruit forward and rich.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

A blend that usually includes Syrah and merlot....this year 80% cabernet and 20% cab franc...a 2nd wine that got more cab this year since 1st wine from one of the vineyards did not get produced.
2 hour decant (little sediment). A majestic inky purple color. On the nose: dark cherry, vanilla wafer, floral, pepper, cinnamon chocolate. Taste: A medium body, fresh, juicy wine with dark plum, spice, cassis, cedar, with a raspberry mocha medium plus finish. No need to wait, drinking well now with a decant.
