I don’t want to put a number on this wine because it is 100% unique. 10 months on whole cluster in amphora - yes you read that right. Nose of jalapeño, lavender, hops, honeydew melon. Palate is more reminiscent of a saison than any wine I can think of, with similar flavors to the nose and a liveliness to it despite not being super high in acid. Super cool.

Beautiful orange wine made in amphora. Smells like peach jam. Tastes like literal orange juice.

Big tropical fruit profile but acid wasn't quite there.

NatDiego - 2018. ...and a lot of skin-fermented Sauv Blanc. This was the most interesting and most extreme, at 10 months contact in amphora.

Wow. Now we know it takes skins for 10 months to make CA sauv blanc drinkable.

One of the most unique wines I’ve tasted. Fruity nose but savory mouth! Natty atypical #orangewine
