I laid this wine down in the cellar for a while now, thought it was time. Drinking this 2008 in 2022, it was surprising just how fresh it still was. Aged, certainly, with some bricking in color, but plenty of acidity to hold on for this amount of time. Tannins were crazy soft by this point. I really hope more WV producers embrace cool-climate syrah, and let it age like this. A great wine.

Great cool climate Syrah from the Willamette Valley. Other reviewers compare this to St. Joseph, but this is a bit more tart and red fruited. A great accompaniment to food.

Just a wowing shocker. Low alc soft pretty w wonderful sour cherry finish. This is good!

Comparing to Australian Shiraz, it is very different, very light but light fruit and hint of tobacco and leather hints, earthy. Very nice Oregonian area and good value

Dry. Bought from @winebiddotcom for cheap because parker gave it 94 points. Crazy dry wine. Herbs. Syrah roasted dried fruit and meat. Great value buy. St Joseph clone.
