Nice intensity, depth and richness on nose. Candied citrus and orchard fruit. Palate is structured, full and vibrant with medium + complexity. Broad with warm and long finish.

One of the better Wachau Gruner I've had, without a doubt. Complex, rich, elegant, herbal- everything Gruner should be. Lovely citrus aromas, intensely herbal flavors. There's a "brothiness" in texture, a certain kind of salinity, that I find very refreshing. At this price point I must say that it is more appealing to the GV devotees out there, but I say so reluctantly because it is a wine with great charm and wonderful fruit that I think most anyone can enjoy.
