Nose: roasted dark fruits and maple. Palate: AMAZING, RICH DARK CHERRy, mildly sweet dark currants, spices, mocha, vanilla, anise. Smooth going down; beautiful aftertaste.

Very interesting Portuguese wine. Its very dark in the glass and that color translates well to the palette. It's great structure lends to ripe tannins with hints of coffee bean and cinnamon. Ripe plum is present too. Overall, a good wine.
