This inexpensive blend is exceptional. The nose lends sumptuous red fruits like montmorenci cherry and freshly-picked ripe strawberry. The palate offers semi-sweet red fruits and blackberry, along with a mild earthy iron and wood undertone. Some spice coupled with lushness that lingers on the back of the palate at the finish. While in Chicago, a distributor (and gentleman, Dave) handed my love a bottle of this fantastic red wine, which we graciously sipped while huge snowflakes fell outside our window. Nose: stark bright red fruits and iron. Palate: Iron and Tannins, mildly sweet currant and anise spice, Robust finish and smooth, lingering aftertaste. — 8 years ago
