Wonderful with family dinner, paired with sous vide prime tri tip. Tasted side by side with 2005 Xabo Quixote Cabernet Sauvignon. The Xabo seemed to have aged better, but both were excellent.

Color of bing cherries. Aroma of dark fruit followed by dark fruit, leathers, earth and spice in the mouth. Tannins are resolved. A bit shy in acid structure. Quite polished and smooth with a bit of wood evident. This is a modern take on BDM but very well made. 4* stuff-will hold for some years.
