Medium ruby hue with medium-plus saturation. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, chocolate, graphite, licorice, pepper, plum, raspberry, vanilla, and violet. Medium-plus body, with medium-plus tannins and medium-plus acidity. Red fruit and spice on the palate. Complex bouquet and smooth mouthfeel, though the finish a little rough. Blend of Grenache (50%), Merlot (30%), Syrah (15%), and Carignan (5%). Perfect for food pairing, but give it time to open up..

Had this with Christmas dinner (prime rib and crab legs). It was fine with dinner but unremarkable so won’t repurchase

Beautiful evening with the loved ones and this guy out of Spain. Interesting blend of grenache merlot syrah and carignan.. heavy cedar and leather to the nose. Plum blueberry cedar leathers and dust to the palate. A very bit hot ... HOT!!! With almost 15 percent alcohol content. Med plus finish but hot.

Here I am in Zion National Park. While my pizza was being made in a wood-fired brick oven, I'm listening to a kitchen staff member playing a 12 string Fender acoustic guitar IN THE KITCHEN while sipping an Alta Vins. Domus Pensi 2013. Delicious blend. Paired with a roasted vegetable pizza.....sublime. No one expect d this. Buy this wine. Please. You'll love it.
