BANG! Amazing Bordeaux'esque blend. Carmenere really shows through. Floral & herby on the nose, mixed with mint, black current fruit. A real medley on the palate. Bold & big, wrapped in generous oak. Winter warmer!

A great value blend from Chile, this blend of CS, CF, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Carmenere, was wonderfully crafted, it has a deep purple color, a lovely seducing nose with lairs of prune, black cherries, chocolate, coffee, figs and black current, a soft and smooth full body, with well rounded tannins. Elegant and long finish. My score 88, drink to 2020, perhaps longer

2012 vintage in 24 December, 2015. Dark cherry and cassis. Quite high on the alcohol content- but reasonably balanced with tannins and acidity. Has a reasonable finish, but it really feels like a roller coaster landing. As others commented, decanting is probably worthwhile.
