The 2006 vintage is a monster and powerhouse. Ripe, jammy fruit, not a hard edge. Soft tannins, fully mouth-coating wine. Fig and prune. Impressive.

A bit of evolution here some espresso coffee notes with fresh black raspberry fruit licorice spice very pith on the tongue ripe round tannins very long and layered finish echoing the nuance from the nose through the finish very long and layered finish 50+ most excellent

The big boy. Wine Spectator #31 in 2013. Still needs time in the bottle. A bit early to drink now but can tell this will be beautiful.
