What's better than Alpine Nelson? - Someone you don't even know, asking if you want a Nelson from the back room, right out of the blue. Uhhh, Yes Please! San Diego people are so nice. :)

This is not a Alpine Beer, this was brewed by Green Flash, I have been to Alpine and have enjoy this beer, not to say it is a bad beer, but if you want the great beer that Alpine brews, you have to go to the brewery, it is in a Green Flash bottle and states it is brewed in San Diego, not Alpine, what is different is the Nelson hops are muted, it is more bitter, does not have the white wine characteristics, not a clean finish, wow, what a big disappointment, still a very good west IPA, but not world class as the original
