Full bodied, dry, balanced, smooth, lush. Blueberries dominate palate with black cherries and cocoa on the finish. Lovely!

Feb 22nd, 2020Okay, but not my favorite Syrah or my favorite from Alpha Omega (whose wines I generally love).

Jan 21st, 2020Definitely drink now. Lots of sediment in the bottle.
Not as spectacular as I was hoping for but still a solid showing. Might be due to mediocre storage since purchase.
On the nose: artificial pine, leather, and roasted (grilled? I've never had them...) Cherries. Very dark on the palate though velvety tongue. A needy mouthfeel. Ever so eager to drain you and leave you wanting.

An one of my favorite wineries, but this wine was not as high as some of their classics. Medium bodied, some blueberry, hint of blackberry, the finish was, "light" at best, for the price I expected more.
