Rated this wine previously and must say it shows how wines change in the bottle. I (and my wife) did not get a whole lot on the nose. Not very expressive in that regard. However, on the palate there is tons of dark fruit and spice. Tannins are nicely integrated. Very drinkable today and most likely for many years in the future.

May 11th, 2016Great notes of chocolate covered cherries, anise, and blackberries on the nose. Great dark fruit, licorice, cedar, tobacco and baking spices on the palate. The finish is very elegant deep fruit and sleek tannins. Very nice wine.
