Napa Valley Grenache Syrah Blend

14.1% alc.
60% Grenache, 40% Syrah.

Baking spices and tobacco on nose. Dark, full, somewhat dry and acidic. Raspberries and blueberries on paltry. Terrific wine.

Bold, dry. Some mild tannins. Peppery red fruit. Lovely wine to watch a movie with.

Was craving a bold red blend tonight to watch election results. This is beautiful and complex. Could have used more time on the shelf, but as usual, I have no regrets.

Thanksgiving Day

Cotton candy nose, medium body, dry

So delicious, my favorite wine tonight. Layer after layer of dark fruits and complexity. Plush!

I had high expectations for this bottle of wine. The scent is somewhat like hairspray. The taste? Confusing! It’s a blend with an Identity crisis.

Somewhat closed nose, body also closed and tight, more of a classic Rhone than fruit forward California offering.

Jam like fruit with blackberries and cedar notes on the nose.. smooth and well balanced tannins on the finish. Fun bottle!
