Took a gamble on the new store in town and lost. Another wine stricken by the curse of bad cold chain. Madeirised and volatile.
I guess it isn't really a curse, as much as it is a bad choice. Most importers and retailers in Malaysia just can't be trusted. I should really just give up on buying wines locally, but the thirst just gets to me sometimes, especially in this [wine] desert of a city. Time and time again, the temptation kicks in, a bottle (or two) is bought, and disappointment follows. Screw bad cold chain!

Looking quite good now, really settled into its own with gorgeous notes of lavender, candies ginger, ripe dark cherry, cassis, blood orange and warm earth. Supple and fine tannins, cleansing acid. Nice
