Very clean, dry, crisp acidity with lemon, green apple, crushed stone, hay, and white pepper. It’s quite light and if there is a place to fault the wine it is its lack of intensity. Pleasant but not with the depth I associate with other wines from Lageder like his Pinot Grigio “Porer”

Oct 12th, 2021This might be my new favourite weekday PG. A pale lemony white wine with green tinges.
The nose is much lighter than expected from this winemaker but very pleasant: pear, lime citrus notes and an underlying flint.
The wine is dry with medium alcohol, acid and fruit intensity that is also medium but the flavour profile matches the nose but just amplified.
It’s a very good Pinot Grigio and will stock up on this.
