Complex taste - sour, almost earthy flavor. Very smooth. Color of rootbeer. Not an everyday beer but a nice option if looking for something usual/interesting. EDS likes it for a change for a few times per year.

On the recommendation from Dave Harris, this is a terrific beer. Almost like a sour porter, great complexity, terrific balance, and layers of flavor.

Very fine bubbles. Subtle sour character gradually transitioning to a hoppy finish. Somehow goes from Concord grape to coffee. Very interesting beer. Jarad hates it, but what the fuck does he know?

Apr 7th, 2015This beer promises a lot up front in terms of nose and initial flavor that it ultimately fails to deliver. Fresh rubber, cherries, metallic bitterness. It just needs more body and some sweetness to balance things. It's not a $24 a bottle beer. Still glad I had it.
