Curieux Belgian-Style Golden Ale

Good golden strong. Not too much oak or over-bourboned out like so many bourbon barrel aged beers.

Unexpectedly soft and supple. Highly recommend it.

Tasting room only, complex brew. Nose full of toasty, spiced oak notes. Palate is warm; clove, malt, banana peel, bay leaf. Big fan.

Allagash bourbon barrel aged curieux! The malty character balances the alc and it's beautiful!

A nice summer brew with 10.2 abv. We’re not in Mexico anymore Toto!
Even though I do enjoy a nice Modelo during the heat, but it’s just not very strong or flavorful compared to a bourbon barrel aged beer

Best beer I’ve had. Floral, citrus, vanilla, and the bourbon barrel aging gives the back palette such a tremendous acidic lift. Gorgeous orange color. A perfect beer. The alcohol is completely hidden but will tackle you to the ground like a linebacker.
