What a stunning wine! All that an extra 8 years did (I tried the same vintage in 2009, at the 10-year mark) was make it more layered and overall impressive. To drink now, decant well ahead (I’m talking minimum 3 hours) and drink from a ‘grand vin’, if you can. To drink later... probably the same? Either way, it will absolutely be worth it.
