Enjoyed this Champagne while sitting in the sun beside a pond in the gardens outside the Louvre. It was perfect for our picnic! Gently effervescent, beautiful to look at, faintest hint of apricot on the nose, lively mouthfeel, crisp acidity, dry minerality, short but pleasant finish. Went very well with sea salt potato chips, subtle and thinly sliced cured meats, herbed pickled green olives, and a mini wheel of chévre!

Pretty good champs. Complex, with both some bread and minerality as well as a striking acidity. Slight earthyness but very enjoyable.
