An interesting Bordeaux style blend from Washington state.
Showing red and black fruits with light oak, vegetables, earth, green vegetables, herbs, tobacco, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Showing mild complexity, and easy drinking, but a bit unbalanced.
A nice everyday wine. Good by itself and better with food.
A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, 2% Syrah and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in French and American Oak barrels.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
88 points.
$30.

Aromatic with red and blue fruit, sarsaparilla smoke and a hint of violet aromas. On the palate it's light bodied, lean, fresh and slightly tannic with red cherry, blueberry and a bit of blackberry flavors. Approachable now. I think would benefit from a couple of more years in the bottle.
