Touriga Nacional - Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Touriga National (70%). Dark Ruby color. Aromas and flavors of cooked black fruit, with additional hints of menthol, vanilla and fresh herbs. Very oaky on the long finish. Grippy tannins and a high level of acidity. A bit overpowering and out of balance. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!

Great red from portugal

Tasted at Aveleda Estate. Juicy mouthfeel with black fruits, med tannin and med acid. I quite like this.

Light-Medium tannins/mouthfeel, lower acid, supple, smooth, deep purple, small sediment, notes of plum, blackberry

Big nose of black fruit and smoked spices. The palate is surprisingly balanced showing black and red fruit with ample spice.

Super licorice on the nose. Super anise on the front and strong. Sharp cheese is made sharper. Great drinking wine with out food. Eat afterwards for sure.

Harsh in the beginning but really opens up.
