Revealing a wonderfully expressive bouquet of dark fruits, licorice, sweet florals and minerals. On the palate, I found focused black cherry fruit with hints of spice and dark earth, which lasted well into the finish along with a juicy bump of brisk acidity that made the mouth water. This is a classically-styled Barbera that will give a lot of pleasure to fans of the old-world style.

Bit of funk and earth, highly layered and a bit chewy. Way more serious that the price would indicate. Nice. Purchased at MWC
