Albino Rocca
Piemonte DOC Cortese
Eye: slightly yellow. Nose: closed. Reminiscence of vulcanised rubber. After the waltz: opulent flowerish notes raised by to much alcohol (13.5%) for a white wine. Mouth: bitterness; burning alcohol on the tongue, all sugars fermentated, sublimating to the complex flowerish bouquet already mentioned. Very pleasing Finale: delicate tannins sticking to the gums categorise this monicepage Cortese in the pricy cathegory for long lasting minutes. Just like all other better Italian wines: to expensive relatively to French alternatives.
