Star bright cantaloupe copper in color. Nose and palate of quince and white tea. Medium plus acidity wrapped in a medium-full body. Medium long, cantaloupe and orange flower finish ties it all together. Not your father’s PG. Make this the table wine with all white and a few red wine meals.

Wow! Star bright, coppery straw in color. Big, bosomy nose of white flowers, golden apple, and white peach. All of this echoed in layers on the medium-full-bodied palate with medium acidity and a long, spiced apple finish. Not your grandmother’s PG. There’s some real substance and complexity here making this a great upscaling of everyone’s go-to white. Pasta with Alfredo sauce? Roasted chicken? Special occasion? Go here if you can’t get to Avondale!
