This an elegant, fully mature wine form a challenging vintage. Aromas of red cherry and cranberry fruit are supported by accents of mushroom and autumn leaves. The tannins give the wine good structure. The acidity provides a bit of freshness to the sous bois dominated flavors of pomegranate and red cherry. The wine gained weight while in the glass with good length on the finish.
