One of the great locations for PG. And for me there are so few. Exceptionally expressive, with cantaloupe, peach and marula fruit. Rich and textured. For $20 or less, this is a steal.

Butternut squash season means Alsatian Pinot Gris season. Great time to open this vintage. #YouCanStillDrinkWhitesInFall #Wine

Oxidization that seemed lush but imprecise; maybe opened too soon.

Ripe and leesy! Cantaloupe and orange nose. A bit of effervescence and served chilled will hide the lack of acid. Not my style but a good example of Alsatian ripeness

Lovely underripe pear, green apple on the nose. You can even smell the lees here--I wonder how the wine was made specifically. Bitter melon on the palate, quince. Lower acid on this wine.

Sweeter than expected (the label has a chart on back leaning more towards dry). Bright and acidic, but finishes on the dry side. Pairs really nicely with a cheese & pate plate.

Lovely. Went very well with a lemony salad.
