I was going to write all of these cool descriptors about this wine - how elegant yet intense the aromas are, the seamless balance between fruit, tannin, and acidity - but the easiest things to say are these: (1) John Alban is a genius, and (2) this wine will make you believe in God. 'Nuff said.

Fantastic aged Syrah. Peppery with nice blackberry fruit. I loved it but my wife thought it was too much wine!

Robust in flavour and aroma. Dark berries, spicy or rather peppery. Delicious. One of my favourites, but difficult to find. Purchased at Hedonism Wines in London.
